Use of the this website and Hawk Editorial’s services is acknowledgment and acceptance of the company’s Terms and Conditions as detailed in this document.

The client retains sole copyright, ownership and control of all submissions sent to Hawk Editorial, including the finished and corrected document. Your personal information and work will not be shared with any other party.

Hawk Editorial reserves the right to deny or refuse service to any client or prospective client for any reason and without explanation. Hawk Editorial will not endorse submissions that advocate or incite violence, hatred or discrimination in contravention of national and international laws. Hawk Editorial assumes no responsibility or liability for the infringement of third party copyright in the content of client documents.

All quotes are made without obligation.

An agreement will be effected when Hawk Editorial receives written confirmation of a commission (including by e-mail) from the client; or by written confirmation (including by e-mail) from Hawk Editorial of a commission provided by the client.

Hawk Editorial will invoice for the work on or after the date on which the work is delivered to and accepted by the client, and payment will fall due at 30 days unless otherwise agreed in writing. Hawk Editorial accepts payment via PayPal, cheque and bank transfer. All payments include VAT. If payment is not received within 5 working days of the due date shown on the invoice, Hawk Editorial reserves the right to charge interest under the terms of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act (1998). Interest will be applied in accordance with the DTI ‘Better Payment Practice’ guidelines i.e. at the prevailing Bank of England reference rate plus 8%. A compensation payment may also be due under the terms of the legislation.

Hawk Editorial endeavours to meet all delivery dates and milestones specified in agreements with clients. From time to time it may be necessary to delay delivery dates. When such a situation occurs Hawk Editorial will notify the client as soon as possible and seek agreement of a revised date.

All submissions are proofread to the highest standard. However, Hawk Editorial provides no guarantee the document will be error-free. Should the client be dissatisfied with the quality of the service, Hawk Editorial will refund the client’s payment. However, any such refund is conditional on the client demonstrating conclusively how Hawk Editorial failed to meet its service obligations.

All information submitted by the client is confidential and used for the purpose of the service. The client must provide true and accurate information with respect to their name, e-mail address and all payment details. Failure to provide correct and accurate information can result in a refusal to provide service. The client assumes all responsibility for any problems, errors, issues, as well as legal liability, resulting from such false information.

Hawk Editorial is not liable for the fraudulent use of any credit card or other payment method that may be used to purchase its services.

In the event of a client violating any or all of the terms and conditions contained in this document, Hawk Editorial reserves the right to terminate all service and contractual obligations with the client.

If the client cancels a commission after the agreement has been concluded the client shall be liable to pay a cancellation fee equal to the price of the work so far completed by Hawk Editorial.

UK jurisdiction will prevail in the settlement of any and all disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions or from any contract formed between Hawk Editorial and the client.
